Tofu Nut Balls Recipe

Tofu Nut Balls Recipe - Ingredients
1 1/2 cups old fashioned oatsTofu Recipe
1 cup pecans
7 cloves garlic, crushed and minced (more if you want)
1/2 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon crumbled oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons lemon juice
8 ounces firm tofu, crumbled and drained
1/2 cup water
olive oil, for skillet-frying

Tofu Nut Balls Recipe - Directions
Place oats and pecans in a blender or food processor and process until finely ground.
Remove to a large bowl.
Add garlic, sage, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to bowl.
Process tofu and water in blender (or processor) until smooth.
Add to bowl with other ingredients and stir until mixture holds firmly together.
Shape into 1.
5 inch balls.
Heat a little bit of olive oil in a non-stick skillet and skillet fry balls until reaching the desired level of brownness on all sides.
Adding more oil if needed.
Remove to brown bags or newspaper covered paper towels.
Place in a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until done in the middle.
I sometimes skip this step and just flatten the balls slightly, so they will cook well on top of the stove.
Yields about 16 balls.
Serve over pasta cooked just al dente with some nice tomato sauce or as an appetizer.

1 (16 ounce) package garden herb tofu, crumbled
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 lime, juiced
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
10 medium taco shells, heated
2 cups shredded lettuce
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 avocado - peeled, pitted and diced
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup salsa

Tofu Tacos Recipe - Direction:
Over a medium heat fry the tofu, oil, garlic and onion in a large skillet for 5 minutes. Add the chili powder, paprika, cayenne, cumin, salt, lime juice and tomato sauce to the skillet and stir. Cook for 3 minutes. Stir in the cilantro. Spoon mixture in a serving bowl.

30oz salmon, canned.
1 egg, beaten.

Instructions for Salmon Loaf recipe :
Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease a baking dish.
Soften bread crumbs in milk. Set aside.
Drain salmon and remove its skin. Put in a large bowl and add softened bread crumbs, eggs, salt, parsley, tarragon, margarine, and lemon

juice. Mix together.
Spoon salmon mixture into baking dish, patting down firmly.
Fill a larger pan with hot water and put the salmon pan into it.

Bake for fifty minutes or until loaf is firm.

4 (1/2lb) salmon steaks, 1-inch thick.
3/4 cup of brown sugar.

Instructions for Barbecue Salmon recipe :
Combine the sugar, lemon juice and butter in a saucepan.
Cook the mixture over low heat, constantly stirring, until sugar has dissolved.

Salt and Pepper
1/2 cup herb seasoned bread crumbs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard powder
2 salmon fillets

Instructions for Baked Salmon recipe :
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Grease a baking sheet, and set aside.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Saute onion with dried garlic, salt and pepper until tender.
Transfer to a medium bowl, and mix with bread crumbs, mustard powder and mayonnaise.
If necessary, add more mayonnaise to achieve a paste like consistency.
Place salmon fillets onto the greased baking sheet, and press the crumb mixture on the top so that it is about 1/4 inch thick.

Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until salmon is easily cut with a fork, then broil for 5 minutes to crisp the top.
